Overview

This is Social Eco Tourism in Nepal. The main goal is to provide an active tourist the chance to participate with the different actors of the trip to support Nepal by Volunteering Social Eco Tourism for the Education of Rural area in Patle Sherpa Village .The project gives tourists the opportunity to be supportive and to generate an essential enthusiasm in order to provide local resident with something that benefits for the economic, education, health and environment of the community as a whole. Eco tourism mainly focuses on the following aspects.

Involves travel to natural Trekking destinations like patle pikye trek Everest base camp, Pokhara Ghorepani ,Annapurna base camp ,Manaslu, Narphu Valley, Langtang Gosainkunda Lake, Ganesh Himal ,Rolwaling ,Indigenous trail Sailung,etc.
Minimizes circumstances like poor health, lack of quality education, degradation of nature by raising Fund for the awareness programmes. First Priority is given to ethnic Group like Sherpa, Tamang, Magar, Sunwar, Rai, Dalit Children’s Education Motivation for going to School and caring their Health. Builds skill Education from home to home, Health, environmental awareness from home to home. For example, gives knowledge about conserving the tradition and culture and preserving natural resources like soil, forest, minerals, water resources etc. Provides direct financial benefits for conservation. The benefits obtained are used for organizing mass- meetings for education, seminars and posters related to health for raising awareness. Provides financial benefits and employment for local people. When the tourists come for social eco tour then he/she needs some guides, porters and in such cases the local villagers gets employment for certain period which is also considered good. Respects for local culture. The foreigners don’t want to ruin others culture instead they respect our traditions, religious norms and values.

This model of social eco tourism is beneficial for tourists and also for ethnic group people because the tourists also can visit different places and the people also get employment opportunities and many benefits and also there is the reunion of both cultures, values cultures. There is the generation for the exchange of life goals and values to be supported and respected. It is a sustainable project because it is a supportive mission, it generates fraternity feelings and desire to participate actively in tasks that include the improvement of their quality of life and the commitment with the environment, without altering biodiversity or customs. Travelers return to their locations with an enthusiasm that is shared with other people, thus producing enthusiasm in other people to experience it.

And then tourists will start the tour into the rural villages where ethnic inhabitants live within their natural habitats with ancestral cultures. However, their livelihood is threatened, as a consequence of the indiscriminate cut down of trees and the lack of management in terms of natural resources. Tourist will stay in the region several days and will share and exchange ancestral customs and knowledge with local residents. Tourists will participate in a volunteering mission that will be to provide the community with a service, or task to improve quality of life. Social Eco tourism acts as a friend with the local villagers and the relationship between them broadens day by day.

The social eco travel’s first aim is for improving the tourism sector. When people travel from one place to another then h/she pays the foreign currency to travel different places. This social eco tourism also helps for the publicity of Nepal in the world because there are many countries in the world that don’t know the name of our country but only know the country of mountains. So it’s a great opportunity for Nepalese people because it also improves the living standard of Nepalese people because it provides employment opportunities.
