Passing thorong la pass (5416m) The round Annapurna trek is the popular trek in the Annapurna mountain range north of Pokhara Valley second biggest city of Nepal . In this trek, we follow two major rivers Marshangdi and Kaligandaki river gorge one of the deepest goerge in the world and pass an altitude of-5,400m on the Thorung La pass and a walk of around 300 km. This round annapurna trek can be done in either way. It encircles the Annapurna Massif, crossing Thorung La [5416m], the highest pass on this trek. The magnificent mountain scenery includes Annapurna , Dhauligiri, Machhupuchhare, Manaslu, Gangapurna [7455m] and Tilicho Peak [7134m].

The trek begins at Besi Sahar and end at Kali Gandaki river valley. After a seven hours drive from Kathmandu , you reach the Besi Sahar city situated nearby Marsyangdi river. We pass along paddy fields and subtropical forests, beautiful mountain scenery, several waterfalls and gigantic cliffs, and experience ethenic gurungs, Thakali & magar communities village life. The natural hot water bathing in tatopani en route de trek is unforgettable and many nepalese believe that natural hot water bath could cure bath & skin deseses.

A moderate to challenging trek and sometime requires climbing up and down steep mountain paths. This trek can be done anytime of the year except during monsoon and winter.

Taking a flight from Jomsom to Pokhara can shorten this trek. It takes just a day's walk from Jomsom to reach Muktinath famous Hindu temple.
